Basketball Recap: Red Bay Takes a Loss

Red Bay lost against Belgreen back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Bay Tigers were beaten by the Belgreen Bulldogs 62-18. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 118th).

Red Bay has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Belgreen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Red Bay will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Covenant Christian at 6:00 p.m. Red Bay is facing Covenant Christian at the right time seeing as Covenant Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Belgreen, they will challenge Phil Campbell at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
