Otay Ranch hadn't done well against Eastlake recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Titans 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since October 8th.

Otay Ranch took Eastlake into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 26-24, 19-25, 26-28, 25-21, 15-11.
