Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Falls Despite Big Games from Tenley Davis and Gabby Schneider + How To Watch

Mt. Carmel was the 2-1 winner over Casey-Westfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Aces fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Thursday. The Golden Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mt. Carmel was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23.

Mt. Carmel's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gabby Schneider, who had ten assists and nine digs, and Tenley Davis, who had seven digs and one assist.

Mt. Carmel now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Casey-Westfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Mt. Carmel has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fairfield on the 29th. As for Casey-Westfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lawrenceville on the 27th.
