Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corcoran). They walked away with a 51-41 win over the Kern Valley Broncs on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Broncs: they've now won five in a row.

Despite the loss, Kern Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gilbert Bernal posted ten points. Aeden Quezada was another key player, putting up six points.

Corcoran's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Kern Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Corcoran will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Orosi at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Kern Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wasco at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
