Caverna's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9. As for Adair County, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

Caverna didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Adair County in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 76-70 victory.
