Soccer Recap: Captain Shreve Gets the Win

Captain Shreve won the last time they faced Zachary and things went their way on Saturday too. It was close, but the Captain Shreve Gators ultimately received the gift of a 3-2 victory from a begrudging Captain Shreve squad. Their winning goal came courtesy of Ava Bogan.

Captain Shreve's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Zachary, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10-1.

Captain Shreve is taking a road trip to square off against Celina at 4:00 p.m. on December 30th. Captain Shreve is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Zachary, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
