Soccer Game Preview: Vista del Lago vs. Rio Americano

The Vista del Lago Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Rio Americano Raiders at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Vista del Lago is headed into the game having not lost since December 5 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Bella Vista could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Rio Americano waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Falcons onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Trey Howell-Chase, who's now up to three this season.

The win got Rio Americano back to even at 4-4-2. With that draw, Vista del Lago's record moves to 6-2-3.
