Basketball Recap: Roswell Wins High-Profile Contest Against Carlsbad

On Friday, Roswell faced Carlsbad in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Roswell Coyotes walked away with a 54-43 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Cavemen/Cavegirls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Roswell's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games.
