Football Game Preview: Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades vs. Broadview/Lavina Pirates

Reed Point/Rapelje hasn't had much luck against Broadview/Lavina recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Renegades will be playing at home against the Pirates at 1:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Reed Point/Rapelje came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 49-26 to Shields Valley. The Renegades were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-13, which was the final score in Broadview/Lavina's tilt against Roy/Winifred two weeks ago.

Reed Point/Rapelje's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Broadview/Lavina, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Reed Point/Rapelje was taken down by Broadview/Lavina 42-6 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Renegades avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
