Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a blow against the Elsinore Tigers, falling 76-44.

Elsinore's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jecorey Jones, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Nasir Bates was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Elsinore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-40 defeat against Vista Murrieta on the 22nd. As for Elsinore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-53 victory against Norco on the 22nd.
