Football Recap: Greenhill Comes Up Short

Greenhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. Mark's Lions and fell 47-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 38-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Wesley Black threw for 128 yards and one touchdown. Trey Davis was his top target, picking up 74 receiving yards. On the ground, Josiah Christian rushed for 47 yards.

Greenhill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Mark's, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Greenhill will face off against John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Mark's, they will square off against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
