Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Comes Up Short

Elkhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Satanta Indians. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Elkhart started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Elkhart's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Satanta, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Elkhart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hugoton on the 13th. As for Satanta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Hodgeman County on the 16th.
