Soccer Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

If Chestatee was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Wesleyan on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The War Eagles fell just short of the North Forsyth Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Chestatee couldn't quite close it out.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Forsyth, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Chestatee will face off against Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Forsyth, they are taking a road trip to take on North Atlanta at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give North Forsyth their first taste of in-conference action this season.
