Volleyball Recap: Appalachian Christian School Takes a Loss

The Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers came up short against the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors on Friday and fell 3-1. While the Trailblazers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-18 in the first set.

Appalachian Christian School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-6.

Appalachian Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Appalachian Christian School will challenge rival Blue Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy is set to take on their familiar foe United Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
