Soccer Recap: Wake Prep Academy Snags 11th Victory in Last 14 Games

With a playoff win on the line, Wake Prep Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the East Bladen Eagles 5-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Wake Prep Academy considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Wake Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 59 goals over those 14 contests. As for East Bladen, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2-2.

Coming up, Wake Prep Academy will square off against Eno River Academy on Thursday. Eno River Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Wake Prep Academy surely won't give up without a fight. East Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
