Basketball Game Preview: Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders vs. Nauset Regional Warriors

Martha's Vineyard Regional and Nauset Regional are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders will head out on the road to face off against the Nauset Regional Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Sunday, Martha's Vineyard Regional came up short against Dover-Sherborn and fell 47-39.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nauset Regional). They secured a 68-64 W over Cape Cod Academy on Thursday.

Martha's Vineyard Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Nauset Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Martha's Vineyard Regional came up short against Nauset Regional in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 65-61. Can Martha's Vineyard Regional avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
