Soccer Recap: Southern Wayne's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Southern Wayne walked away with it. They came out on top against the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Southern Wayne's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Cedar Ridge are ranked 336th).

Southern Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 13-6-2. As for Cedar Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Southern Wayne nor Cedar Ridge have any future games scheduled.
