Soccer Game Preview: Caesar Rodney vs. Dover + How To Watch

The Caesar Rodney Riders will venture away from home to face off against the Dover Senators at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Caesar Rodney is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Caesar Rodney is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Delmar 9-1 on Monday. Given Caesar Rodney's advantage in MaxPreps' Delaware soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Delmar are ranked 34th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dover, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Lake Forest 2-1 on Tuesday. Dover haven't had any issues with Lake Forest recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Caesar Rodney's record now sits at 8-1. As for Dover, their record is now 7-4.

Caesar Rodney beat Dover 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Riders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
