Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Alexandria-Monroe Tigers
Shenandoah couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers at home and fell 69-41. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.
Shenandoah lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Haley Hughes, who posted eight points plus 11 rebounds. Rory McKnight was another key player, scoring 12 points.
