Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Find Success

Calvary Baptist Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Heritage Christian Academy.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvary Baptist Academy took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10.

Anna Starcher paced Calvary Baptist Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Starcher got some help from Camden Hayslett and her seven assists. Hayslett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The win got Calvary Baptist Academy back to even at 1-1.

Calvary Baptist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ignite Athletics on the 21st. Hopefully Heritage Christian Academy paid attention to Calvary Baptist Academy's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Calvary Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on October 7.
