Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was the 4-0 winner over Marple Newtown when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fightin' Tigers on Thursday.

Springfield now has a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Penncrest at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Marple Newtown will square off against rival Radnor at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
