Baseball Game Preview: Castleberry Lions vs. Eagle Mountain Knights

For the second straight game, Castleberry will face off against Eagle Mountain. The Lions will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Castleberry's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Eagle Mountain's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, Castleberry beat Eagle Mountain 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

The team relied heavily on Cayden Perez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Erazo, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Castleberry's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Eagle Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
