Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Owyhee

The Mountain View Mavericks will take on the Owyhee Storm at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Mountain View's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Ridgevue 7-0. Mountain View haven't had any issues with Ridgevue recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Owyhee's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Rocky Mountain. The shutout was out of character for Owyhee seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Owyhee's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-1.
