After only one run in their last contest, South Iredell made sure to put some runs up on the board against Central Davidson on Wednesday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 13-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Sidda Balk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addi Myers, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
