Recap: Davidson Warriors vs. Central Red Devils

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Davidson Warriors can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Central on Friday, falling 63-21. Davidson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-7.

Hudson Spivey threw for 190 yards and a touchdown. Anthony Rabb was his top target, picking up 93 receiving yards. On the ground, Derrick jerome Butler rushed for 39 yards.

It was another big night for Andrew Alford, who threw for 201 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Alford is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Dylan Gentry was in the mix as well, providing Central with two touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Davidson and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Central, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central will square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Auburn is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
