Volleyball Recap: Pennington Takes a Loss

Pennington was the 2-0 winner over Appalachian when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Pennington's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-17. As for Appalachian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Pennington has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cleveland on the 30th. As for Appalachian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hayden on the 30th.
