The Mifflinburg Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Mountain. Mifflinburg has not had much luck with Central Mountain recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Xaiver Persun was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists for Central Mountain. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. Hunter Hoy was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Mifflinburg now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Central Mountain, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Mifflinburg will be staying on the road on December 20th to face off against East Juniata at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Central Mountain will be home for the holidays to greet Montoursville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
