The Yuma Outlaws will take on the Byers Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Yuma has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Two must be Yuma's lucky number: they beat Burlington with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Outlaws didn't even let the Cougars on the board, marking the Outlaws' second-straight 2-0 shutout.

The team relied heavily on Lennox Huwa, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Alex Pensado was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Byers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Bluedevils get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Byers got a massive performance out of Jack Earl, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Earl has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Marshall Hacker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Byers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Byers, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Yuma has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Byers struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Yuma suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Byers in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Outlaws have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
