Football Recap: Unity Christian Takes a Loss

Unity Christian and Cherokee Washington squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Unity Christian had to settle for second. They lost 40-14 to the Braves. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 33-6.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cherokee Washington, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherokee Washington, they will square off against Kuemper on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Braves' offense will have their work cut out for them.
