Volleyball Recap: Franklinton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Franklinton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northern Durham on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Rams came up short against the Person Rockets on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Rams in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost three in a row.

While Franklinton ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-17.

Franklinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Person, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklinton will welcome Warren County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Person, they will challenge Roxboro Community at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
