Basketball Recap: Alex Saucedo and Ben Stewart Secure Win for Bluff Dale

It was a proper cat-fight when Bluff Dale faced off against Gorman on Friday. The Bluff Dale Bobcats came out on top against the Gorman Panthers by a score of 44-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-35 back in January.

Leading Bluff Dale to victory were Ben Stewart and Alex Saucedo. Stewart went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks, while Saucedo went 5 of 9 to rack up 14 points and six boards. Saucedo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Austin Saucedo was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bluff Dale's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Gorman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Bluff Dale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-57 victory against Three Way on the 11th. Gorman has also already played their next contest (against Huckabay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
