Fairview came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Rock Canyon Jaguars as they made off with a 10-4 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Niko Dedic looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackson Wier, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Emry Gates, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Fairview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matchups.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Rock Canyon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fairview will venture away from home to face off against Boulder at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Rock Canyon, they are taking a road trip to square off against Douglas County at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
