Classical won the last time they faced Central, and Eliezer Delbrey did his part to make sure it happened again. The Classical Purple slipped by the Central Knights 73-72 on Saturday thanks in part to Delbrey, who posted 30 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 19 points.

Classical is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

The future could be bright for both Classical and Central: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Classical will try to hand Cumberland their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
