Soccer Recap: Perquimans Victorious

Perquimans's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pasquotank County Panthers a 6-0 shutout. Bartosz Walachowski was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory got Perquimans back to even at 2-2. As for Pasquotank County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perquimans will take on Albemarle School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pasquotank County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on September 9.
