Volleyball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Comes Up Short

Metro-East Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays.

While Metro-East Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23.

Metro-East Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Metro-East Lutheran will be taking part in a tournament against Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, they will take on Springfield in a tournament on Saturday.
