Softball Recap: Rock Springs TIGERS vs. Laramie Plainsmen
Rock Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the Laramie Plainsmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Plainsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on Friday.
Rock Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Flores, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. That hit was Flores' first of the season.
Rock Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Laramie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Rock Springs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-4 win against South on the 5th. Hopefully Laramie payed attention to the TIGERS' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the TIGERS at 3:30 p.m. on the 25th.
