Baseball Game Preview: Geary Bison vs. Carnegie Wildcats

The Geary Bison will head out to challenge the Carnegie Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geary is looking for their season's first victory.

Geary lost 11-1 to Southwest Covenant on Monday.

Meanwhile, Carnegie made easy work of Cyril on Friday and carried off a 13-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Abel Resendez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Chizm Kuykendall was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Carnegie now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Geary, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Geary suffered a grim 12-1 defeat to Carnegie when the teams last played back in March. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
