After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Orange Beach, Doyle was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let Slidell get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering Doyle has won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Doyle pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Slidell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doyle will welcome Bogalusa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Doyle is facing Bogalusa at the right time seeing as Bogalusa is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Slidell, they will square off against Chalmette at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
