Luella waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cedar Grove Saints a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Luella, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Cedar Grove from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. AVA RENEE FENNICKS led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

Luella pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those six games. As for Cedar Grove, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luella will head out to face off against Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Grove, they will venture away from home to challenge Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
