Basketball Recap: Reidsville Takes a Loss

Reidsville lost against North Forsyth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Reidsville Rams took a hard 53-38 fall against the North Forsyth Vikings. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Ariel Odugba went supernova for North Forsyth, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards gave Odugba a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jylyia Mizell, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Reidsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for North Forsyth, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Reidsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-38 defeat against McMichael on the 27th. As for North Forsyth, they will head out to square off against T.W. Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. T.W. Andrews knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully North Forsyth likes a good challenge.
