Recap: Opp Bobcats vs. Andalusia Bulldogs

The Opp Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 14th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Andalusia, falling 69-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Opp has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Opp still got an impressive performance from Dorian Harris, who scored 14 points. Harris continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Smith, who scored six points.

Opp bumped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Andalusia, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Opp will take on Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kinston has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. Andalusia and Slocomb will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Slocomb will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 404th, while Andalusia is ranked 147th).
