Basketball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Comes Up Short

Palmyra-Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 91-45 loss at the hands of Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-39 back in November of 2024.

Palmyra-Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Palmyra-Eagle will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy, they will square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
