Recap: Cedar Park Christian Eagles vs. Neah Bay Red Devils
The Cedar Park Christian Eagles kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Neah Bay 65-31.
Amber Swan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Neah Bay, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Swan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ryana Moss was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Cedar Park Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Neah Bay, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Park Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King's at 6:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024. As for Neah Bay, they will stay at home for another game and welcome LaConner at 1:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
