Soccer Recap: Virginia High Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Virginia High was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Graham G-Men, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for Virginia High in their meetings with Graham: they've now lost four in a row.

Virginia High's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Graham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-2 record this season.

Virginia High wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Marion on the 20th. Hopefully Graham paid attention to the Bearcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bearcats at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
