Football Recap: Star-Spencer Comes Up Short

Star-Spencer extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were outmatched by the Kingfisher Yellowjackets and fell 42-6. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

As for Kingfisher, their win bumped their record up to 5-2. Considering they have won three games by more than 32 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kingfisher found their leader in freshman Collin Farrar, who picked up 49 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kaden Cline made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Star-Spencer has already played their next matchup (against Purcell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kingfisher, they have also already played their next contest, a 34-0 victory against North Rock Creek on the 23rd.
