Basketball Game Preview: Dike-New Hartford Wolverines vs. Pocahontas Indians

The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines will square off against the Pocahontas Indians on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Dike-New Hartford is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since January 21st on Saturday. They blew past South Hamilton 56-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pocahontas walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Cougars 81-40. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Pocahontas' fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. As for Dike-New Hartford, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.
