Volleyball Recap: Redfield Comes Up Short

Redfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Warner Monarchs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Charli Jungwirth paced Redfield's offense, picking up three kills. Jungwirth were helped by Layla Hardie and Hayden Gall, who contributed four assists each.

Warner got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reagan Wood out in front who had four digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Keira Steger, who had ten digs and two assists.

Redfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Warner, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-5.

Redfield has already played their next match (against Philip), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Warner, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Langford on the 18th.
