Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for University

University hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against the Ferris Saxons by a score of 67-57 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Saxons back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-63 loss.

University pushed their record up to 6-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Ferris, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will venture away from home to square off against Lewis & Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in University's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for Ferris, they will head out on the road to take on Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Ferris surely won't give up without a fight.
