Basketball Recap: Phillips' Run of Seven Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Phillips unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stratford Tigers. The Loggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Phillips' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Stratford, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Phillips will square off against Crandon at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Stratford, they will face off against Adams-Friendship at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford is facing Adams-Friendship at the right time seeing as Adams-Friendship is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
