Volleyball Recap: Guy Julavits Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

Ludlowe's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the McMahon Senators 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-10.

Ludlowe's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Guy Julavits, who had ten digs and eight assists. Those eight assists gave Julavits a new career-high.

Ludlowe's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for McMahon, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ludlowe will head out to take on Bridgeport Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McMahon, they will square off against Danbury at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
